Pacific Explorers is located in a Biosphere Reserve with huge kelp beds, 2 islands, lots of reefs and wrecks as well as an abundance of fish. They are currently in the process of obtaining the necessary diving permits but they expect to be diving by early summer, 2010. In the mean time, snorkel, fish or enjoy a nature tour at this new destination. Pacific Explorers is located in Bahia Asuncion, on the mid-Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula, just south of Guerrero Negro and Bahia Tortugas and north of Punta Abreojos.

Horizon Charters is dedicated to sustainable eco-tourism. They work hard to conserve natural resources and provide information to their clients to educate them about the biological and socio-economic aspects of their scuba diving adventure. These are scuba diving tours with all accommodations provided on the boats. Dive boats are fully equipped with GPS, radar, satellite telephone, life rafts and radios. Captains and crew are US Coast Guard certified, CPR certified and drug tested. Boat cabins are carpeted and air-conditioned. Each boat has two restrooms and hot water showers, clothes dryer, beverage and snack options, email and satellite telephone communications available to clients. All diving equipment provided, including Nitrox membrane and underwater diver recall system.
