Baja Diving & Service is located at the popular Club Cantamar Resort in La Paz. Originally started in 1983, our fleet is now the largest, fastest and most comfortable on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Multilingual classes are available from introductory snorkeling to Nitrox and rebreathers for advanced divers. Located ten miles north of La Paz, our position allows us to cut the boat ride times in half, insuring more quality time at the dive sites.

You will find all your equipment waiting for you on the boat in the morning, which will be moored at our private jetty. During the day, all your equipment will be set up for you, unless you wish to do it yourself, leaving you free to simply slip your equipment on and dive. At the end of the day, just stroll up to our Sunset Bar to order your favorite drink while your equipment is unloaded, rinsed in fresh water and stored, ready for the next day of spectacular diving.
Founded on the Mexican mainland in 1992, Carey Dive Center has operated in La Paz since 1997 and is the only SSI Instructor Certifying facility in all of Baja California. Although founder Gabriel Vazquez and his staff have their roots in diving, Carey Dive Center also offers other activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, cycling and hiking.
Palapas Ventana Resort Hotel is centrally located in La Ventana, just south of La Paz and a mere 8.5 miles across the channel from the fantastic diving of Cerralvo Island. Cerralvo is the southernmost island in the Cortez and offers scuba divers of all skill levels a chance to explore its pristine reefs, pinnacles, bays, and beaches and the incredible marine life that inhabits them. In addition to Cerralvo, the local Baja coast near Palapas Ventana offers many incredible sites that are a short panga or van ride away. The beach in front of the resort functions as the introductory training site for certification classes and snorkeling. Palapas Ventana is the perfect base camp for snorkeling and SCUBA adventure, education, and fun.
Swim with the sea lions and snorkel in the beautiful clear waters of the sea of cortes, that Jacques Costeau once described as the "aquarium of the world". Reaching Isla Espiritu Santo takes about 45 minutes. Once there, our activities include snorkeling with the playful sea lions, time to enjoy at one of the most beautiful beaches of the area and sight seeing.
